RALLYING FOR OUR COMMUNITY IN A TIME OF CRISIS: THE WILDFIRE RELIEF FUND.

We Are Moving The Needle postponed the 2025 Resonator Awards due to wildfires in Los Angeles and launched the Wildfire Relief Fund. “The Resonator Awards represent the best of what our industry can be: inclusive, innovative, and resilient,” notes We Are Moving The Needle’s founder and Grammy-winning Mastering Engineer, Emily Lazar. “So many creators have been displaced and have lost the ability to continue working and, right now, our focus needs to be on helping them rebuild their lives. As an industry, it’s crucial that we rally together to offer support and resources in this time of crisis. Let's get these talented individuals back to doing what they do best—creating the music that resonates with us all. Let’s stand together, as we always do, and show the true strength of our community.”

We Are Moving The Needle is an organization rooted in community and collaboration and has also launched We Are Moving The Needle’s Wildfire Relief Fund. “Right now our collective energies should be focused on supporting the Los Angeles community with tangible solutions,” adds Lazar.

We stand in solidarity with everyone affected by this crisis – those impacted by the fires, the first responders and community members working tirelessly to ensure the safety of our city.

“The Wildfire Relief Fund reflects our nonprofit’s mission to empower and uplift all creators, even in the face of adversity. I encourage those in need to reach out and, to those who can, contribute generously.”
