Program Details:
Sessions cover a range of topics from masterclasses on production, engineering, mixing and songwriting to career-building skills, including resume development and professional outreach.
We Are Moving The Needle’s speakers and mentors draw from expertise across the music industry: from pop to metal, film to games, sync, A&R, management, marketing, artist relations, and more.
Webinars are open to We Are Moving The Needle College and University chapter students and We Are Moving The Needle scholarship alumni.
In alignment with We Are Moving The Needle's mission, the Fix The Mix Student Webinar Series is a space for women, trans, and non-binary creators and professionals to build community and connect with mentors.
Career Workshops equip creators with the knowledge, skills, and tools for success.

Leslie Ann Jones is a legendary recording and mixing engineer whose career spans more than four decades at the forefront of music, film, and gaming. A 7x Grammy Award winner, she currently serves as Director of Music Recording and Scoring at Skywalker Sound, where she has shaped the sound of some of the most iconic scores in cinema and video games.

Maura is Senior Director of A&R at Warner Chappell Music in Los Angeles, where she focuses on signing and developing songwriters and artists across Pop, Alternative, and genre-spanning spaces. Since joining in 2022, she has signed and worked with talent including Khruangbin, Emily Warren, and Debbii Dawson, among others.

He personally built and ran the largest YouTube channel for drumming for years before bringing his content expertise to Sweetwater in 2024. His personal social channels crested millions of followers and now as the Director of Content Strategy for Sweetwater he shapes the content across all categories and channels for millions of musicians, creators, and music fans. The content he has had his hands on has generated a billion+ views, and his work focuses on generating product, engagment and educational content that powers algorithms and supports current and expanding audiences. He loves to help creators and musicians understand how content platforms and algorithms work so they can use them to build fanbases, sales and reach new audiences.In 2025, she took on a challenge as Director of A&R at Interscope Capitol Miami, where she plays a pivotal role in shaping the label's artistic direction.
