On August 27, We Are Moving The Needle is excited to host an exclusive workshop for WAMTN community members led by acclaimed producer, songwriter, artist, and soundBoard member Ali Stone. Ali has produced, written, and engineered for Diplo, Major Lazer, Young Miko, Bebe Rexha, RBD, Mary J. Blige, Danna, Sofia Reyes, Manuel Turizo, Natti Natasha, Luísa Sonza, Paty Cantú, Francisca Valenzuela, Flor De Toloache, LeAnn Rimes, Elena Rose, and many others, plus music for Disney, WhatsApp, Meta, and Roland.
In this session, Ali will explore the unique creative process of the artist-producer, sharing how she balances songwriting, production, performance, and artistic vision to build records from the ground up. Attendees will gain insight into developing a signature sound, navigating the creative and technical sides of self-produced projects, and bringing a fully realized artistic vision to life.

On August 14, WAMTN held an exclusive workshop in Los Angeles, California, led by 7x GRAMMY-winning engineer and producer Josh Gudwin. Best known for his work with artists including Justin Bieber, Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny, Karol G, J Balvin, and Sofia Reyes, Josh has become one of the industry's leading mix engineers across Pop and Latin music. During this session, Josh broke down his creative and technical approach to producing and mixing commercially successful records, offering attendees an inside look at how songs evolve from initial recording through the final stereo mix. Josh also discussed both stereo and immersive mixing and how he approaches Dolby Atmos versions when projects require them.
