Join GRAMMY Award-winning producer, engineer and We Are Moving The Needle soundBoard member Catherine Marks for an exclusive four-day mixing and production masterclass. With over 18 years in the industry, Catherine has won the MPG Breakthrough Producer of the Year in 2016, MPG Producer of the Year in 2018, Heavy Music Awards Producer of the Year in 2020 and MPG Producer of the Year in 2023. She produced and mixed Wolf Alice’s GRAMMY-nominated ‘Moaning Lisa Smile’, mixed GRAMMY Award-winning ‘Masseduction’ by St Vincent and has produced/mixed several Top 10 UK Albums and a Number 1 album in Australia and more recently multi-GRAMMY Award-winning album ‘the record’ by boygenius.
Participants will join Catherine at Mix With The Masters’ Rue Boyer Studios in Paris, France, where she will host a series of practical workshops and studio sessions designed to elevate your creative practice.

In addition to the scholarship, each recipient will also be paired with a mentor from We Are Moving The Needle’s world-class network of mentors.

We Are Moving The Needle is proud to offer two (2) scholarships for this masterclass. Please note: for this scholarship, we will be prioritizing those interested in producing/engineering.
Scholarships will be awarded in alignment with We Are Moving The Needle’s mission to empower women, trans, and non-binary creators in the music industry with a demonstrated commitment to production and engineering.
This scholarship covers the full masterclass tuition. Award recipients will be responsible for their own meals, travel and lodging.
Scholarship applicants will be reviewed for: 1) Overall fit with the Mix With The Masters Program and demonstrated learning goals, 2) Alignment with We Are Moving The Needle’s scholarship qualifications (stated above), 3) Clearly defined goals and demonstrated commitment to work in the field that would benefit from this opportunity.
In compliance with industry standards, We Are Moving The Needle expects that written materials and work samples have meaningful contribution from the applicant. Any usage of generative artificial intelligence in work samples must be disclosed in your application.
