College and University Chapters
We Are Moving The Needle’s College and University Chapter Program empowers the next generation of women and non-binary creators in the music industry through education, networking, and community building. Just like closing the gender gap in STEM, fostering strong connections and a sense-of-belonging are critical to supporting women and non-binary creators in audio. We Are Moving The Needle’s campus partnerships help departments and programs expand their diversity and equity, and provide vital resources for students. We work with student leaders and faculty on each campus to define goals for their community and support the development of programs from masterclasses to mentorship panels with meaningful impact for each student community.
